Happy Holidays!!! Anthony at 34 weeks
Okay I know it's been awhile since I have updated this blog but life is extremely busy now that Anthony is crawling like crazy. He also loves to stand everywhere. He will grab onto anything to pull himself up. I can't take my eyes off of him for a second. He gets into everything he can get his hands on.
It's amazing how time flies. He will already be eight months old on December 22. He is growing so fast. He doesn't go in for his next doctor's visit until January but I am sure he is pushing 23 lbs. With three teeth and one more piercing through on top he has a hearty appetite.
Anthony's look has changed so much since he was born. At first he looked nothing like mom, he was 100% daddy but now I think he has about 3% mom. He does have his uncle's big eyes...
and I see a lot of little Sammy in him too...
For Halloween, Anthony helped pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters. Here is my little penguin...
Anthony had his first visit from Santa last weekend and it did not go well. Santa by Sea comes by every year on their boat to take pictures with the kids. Here is mommy and baby waiting anxiously for Santa to float in...
and here is what Anthony thought of Santa...

19 Weeks Big
At 19 weeks old Anthony now weighs in at 16 lbs. 5 oz and 25.75" long.
He is growing fast and can now roll both back to front and front to back. He is close to crawling. He can get his bottom up and going but can only get his arms up. He does something similar to a caterpillar crawl. He also loves to stand. Who knows he may stand before he can crawl.
On Anthony's menu we have cereal, carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, oatmeal, nectarines, peaches and homemade applesauce. Anthony's food of choice is definitely applesauce.
I love hearing him talk and laugh like a squeaky toy. He is a happy boy just like his Uncle Michael!!!

August Update
August has been a busy month for the three of us. Let's see...the first weekend of August Anthony was baptized which was a real treat because we had Grandma Elwell in town to celebrate it with us. Anthony loves his Grandma Elwell!!!
The following weekend we took a trip down to Monterey for the weekend to see beautiful little Hannah Kincaid get baptized. That was the first time we had ever traveled overnight with Anthony. I always knew that there was a lot of stuff to bring with you when you travel with a baby but it seems like you practically have to bring your whole house. It took me nearly two hours to pack myself and Anthony. I think Anthony had more stuff than Billy and me combined!
On the way back from Monterey we went to a Chinese banquet dinner to celebrate the marriage of an old friend. Before dinner, there was a lion dance to wish the couple well. It scared Anthony at first because the instruments being played were extremely loud but he was still very intrigued by the colorful and sparkly lions.
The next weekend we went to a surprise birthday party for my Uncle Vic. It was a very nice party. The food was great and Anthony really enjoyed the music and dancing with all of the ladies especially my Aunt Ellen, she seemed to have the most energy.
The weekend following the party we took it easy. We went to San Francisco and had lunch with Anthony's godmother, Susanna. Anthony always loves his time with Auntie Susanna!
The last weekend of August we took a trip up to visit a friend in Konocti. We took Anthony swimming for the first time! He seemed to enjoy the water just like mommy.
We then headed to Healdsburg for a nice dinner. What a beautiful town. We will definitely visit Healdsburg again.
Swimming really wore Anthony out. It's nap time!!!
